The new op-shop premises on Gipps St opened almost eight weeks ago, but is having its “official opening” this Saturday, July 22, from 11am until 2pm. Formalities will take place at 12.30pm.
Head along for a sausage sizzle, jumping castle, face painting and giveaways for the whole family.
As well as the usual bargains on offer, the Salvos’ Crafty Capers group will have a stall of their varied handicrafts.
Bega corps officer Deb Parsons said the new premises has had a successful start, but for a few small hiccups, and she wanted to “showcase everything about the place”.
The Salvation Army Bega Family Store is located at 70 Gipps St (opposite the court house).
