The trio will represent the ACT in the Australian Junior Indoor Cricket Championships in Dubbo from Saturday across three age groups.
Jade will play in the under 17s, while Jack joins the under 15s and Jesse will serve in the under 14s roster.
The trio will face some of Australia’s best cricketers with teams from NSW, WA, SA, Victoria and QLD taking part.
In the lead-up to the competition Jesse and Jade have also been taking some sage advice from Australian international cricketer and Big Bash player Claire Koski.
Ms Koski has been part of the development of the women’s game and said she was excited to share her skills with up and coming young players.
“I was pretty thrilled when I got the call and to be able to teach what I've learned in the past,” Koski siad.
“It goes without saying that cricket is developing, in my day growing up the only opportunity you had was playing with the men.
“We’re now taking those steps in developing the women’s league and it’s a great time to be involved with the women’s Big Bash.”
A key aspect of coaching the two girls will be mental development rather than purely looking at technique.
Discipline and creativity are the key factors for the coach and said once players had honed those abilities they could build their own style of cricket and become successful.
Jack and Jade’s dad Dave Allen said he was stunned to see the level of coaching the girls were receiving before the competition.
“They’re getting top level coaching from a former international, some of Australia’s best women players are putting their hand up to coach the kids,” Allen said.
Jade competed in last year’s indoor championships in Brisbane, but is hoping to go one better this year, while Jesse and Jack are no strangers to top level competition.
The pair have torn up local outdoor play and will adapt well to the indoor arena.
Jack is one of the leading bowlers for the Bega-Angledale Bulls and was one of the leading wicket takers with his spin-bowling last season, while Jesse is a leading player for the Eden Cricket Club’s junior ranks.
Koski said she was excited to see young women taking part in the sport.
“it's very important for me to let the girls know it's a great place to be a wonderful sport to play,” she said.
“I’m really proud of what Cricket ACT is achieving and I hope some of the success of the Big Bash can adapt to indoor cricket aswell.”
The Championships will run in Dubbo from Saturday and will continue until next weekend.
