The Tathra Soccer club had to divide and conquer over the weekend with a mixed draw including play in Eden, Merimbula, Bega and Bemboka.

Officials said the junior teams did well with wins, while senior play resulted in a series of draws.
The first grade line-up had a hard-fought 1-1 match with the Killer Whales in Eden.
“This was an impressive result given that Tathra had no substitutes and eight of the 11 Tathra players were playing their second game of the day,” A club spokesman said.
Half the team stepped up from reserve grade and one player floated up from the earlier 16s match.
Marlon Thompson got Tathra ahead of a direct free kick, but Eden piled on pressure in the second half to equalise.
The Tathra Ladies team had a 1-1 draw with Bemboka at Bemboka.
Tayla Wilson scored a bender into the top corner.
The Tathra reserve grade team had a 2-2 draw with Bega White in their game played in Eden.
Bega shot to the lead early, but Tathra fired back with a series of passes found Jack Smith to put the ball in the net.
The Devils got back in front off a free kick before Thompson levelled again through a Tathra free kick five minutes before the siren.
Earlier the under 16s enjoyed a convincing 7-0 win over the Killer Whales.
Three first half goals from Sebastian Webber gave Tathra a 3-0 lead at half-time. Declan Harley, Aaron Smith (2) and Jai McCabe all fired goals in the second half.
The Tathra Under 14’s Maroon team had a 3-0 win against Bega White in their game at the Bega Valley Primary School field. Both Nicholas Fantham and Taj Constable scored goals for Tathra with the third goal came from a shot by Duncan Webber which was deflected in by a Bega player for an own goal. Bega were unlucky not to score a few goals as the opportunity was there, however, Duncan Webber was often in their way at the right time to prevent any goals. Tathra goalkeeper, Tye McDonald, also made some crucial saves under immense pressure from the Bega White team. Coach Sam Constable said that some lovely passing and through balls made the difference for Tathra.
The Tathra Under 14’s White team also had a win in their game against Merimbula Green at Merimbula, although the score was not known at the time of filing this report.
The Tathra Under 12’s team had a bye.
The Tathra Under 10’s team were playing Mallacoota on the Eden side field. Despite losing 8-3, the Tathra team played well with Hamish, Orlando and Jack all scoring goals.
