With significant cash prizes on offer, organisers said they need to finalise minimum numbers as soon as possible to ensure the event would go ahead.
Early bird prices are available until the end of June, and initial response has been positive, but everyone is encouraged to get online and book your place now. “It is really going to be family oriented, we want everyone to get involved and have a great day out,” head organiser Michelle Walker said.
The obstacle course will be staged at the Old Bega Racecourse and the Bega River will feature in sections during the day. And for the more feint-hearted, everyone is welcome to spectate on the day.
“I’ve definitely got mud and I’ve also got a special little obstacle at the end to ensure people leave knowing that they’ve done something different,” she said.
Organisers are also welcoming spectators if the numbers are met with a grand stand to be set up. Tickets are available at www.eventbrite.com.
