This year, Miller is bringing an eclectic mix of students to perform a wonderful selection of music. Who could resist a repertoire based on Bach, Mozart, Tchaikovsky, Schubert and Vivaldi among others?
The Wentworth String Quartet will perform some of the program. This student group is composed of Alexander Chiu (violin), Maxine Poon (violin), Joseph Coen (viola) and Emma Rayner (violoncello).
Miller will accompany them on piano. He is recognised as one of Australia’s leading pianists, chamber musicians and vocal accompanists. He has been a senior staff member of the Sydney Conservatorium of Music since 1960.
He will bring the group to Wolumla Hall on Friday, July 1. Doors open 6pm. Tickets are $25.
