Australian Labor Party candidate Mike Kelly and The Greens candidate Tamara Ryan will head up the panel along with Independent Andrew Thaler.
Also included are forum co-hosts Matthew Nott, Frances Perkins, Bronte Somerset and David Gallan.
It will be moderated by Tim Holt, formerly of ABC South East Radio.
Special guests attending the forum are Daniel Morgan, field officer with National Parks and Wildlife Service; conservation pioneer Virginia Young, CEO of Forests Alive; and John Grimes, chief executive of the Australian Solar Council.
“Clean Energy for Eternity have successfully hosted similar public forums in 2007, 2010 and 2013 for all Eden-Monaro candidates and provided the opportunity to meet and ask questions in areas of major concern to our region,” CEFE forum convenor Prue Kelly said.
“It is disappointing that for the first time, the Liberal Party candidate has declined our invitation or to send a representative to this candidates forum.
“By creatively addressing the challenges of climate change and forest conservation, Australia can create significant social, economic and environmental benefits for our communities, including jobs creation, strong education programs, good health and improved quality of life.
“While attention will be paid to renewable energy, the urgent need for protection of public native forests and other long term economic and social policy-making, we are also encouraging diverse questions from the floor.”
The candidates forum starts at 5.30pm on Saturday, June 4 at the Bermagui Community Centre Hall.
