The Bermagui Cobargo Sharks will celebrate a 35-year reunion of the club on June 18 at the Bermagui Country Club. Officials are urging all players, partners and supporters to join in the fun.
“Kickoff is at 5.30pm with drinks, sideline food and an opportunity to exaggerate performances and tell a few stories before watching the Wallabies v England in the second Test on the big screen,” a spokesman for the club said.
“Warhorse” Dave Blacka has also promised to re-enact some of his old moves and set the story straight that he “was the best footy player in the family”.
“The older you get, the better you were.” the spokesman said with a laugh, adding that Clydie Watt would be on hand and was itching to bend an ear with some old tales. Anyone who is interested in attending is urged to email sharksreunion@hotmail.com.
