Paul took out the hotly contested ACT Tennis Challenge tournament after coming in at sixth seed for the singles event.
Officials said Paul boasts plenty of power in his serves and top spin game, which proved too much for the number one seed Nathan Jamieson, who faced Paul in the final.
The Bega local took out the top contender in the quarter finals, winning 7-6, 6-2.
He bagged another straight sets win in the semi-finals and advanced to the grand final where he met Sydney-sider Jake McGill.
In a dominant display, the local youngster took out the signature title with a 6-3, 6-1 victory.
Showing plenty of versatility, Paul later backed up with Merimbula’s Trent Little to win the doubles crown.
Bega Tennis Club coach James Poso said Paul’s success could help inspire a new generation of young players at the club looks to launch a new junior program.
Poso will head up a 10-week Saturday afternoon junior competition.
The competition will allow young players of all abilities to enjoy the game, at the same time as gaining match play experience. James also hopes the comp will encourage some to start playing tournaments, following in the successful path trail-blazed by Paul Warren.
The comp will cost $2 per week. A $10 registration fee will make them club members, with year-round court access and other Tennis NSW benefits. Interested parents or juniors should contact James Poso on 0409 315 542.
