A 41-YEAR-OLD Sanctuary Point man arrested during Strike Force Croci’s crackdown on illegal drugs in the Shoalhaven has been sentenced to four years’ jail.

Terry Wayne Acton, of Sanctuary Point Road, was arrested as part of the seven-month undercover operation in June 2015.
He faced 13 charges of supplying prohibited drugs small quantity, supplying a prohibited drug indictable quantity and supplying a prohibited drug on an ongoing basis.
The court heard he had sold and supplied cannabis and methamphetamine on a number of occasions.
Judge Chris Hoy in Parramatta District Court sentenced Acton to four years’ jail with a non-parole period of two years and nine months from April 29 this year on one count of supplying prohibited drugs small quantity, supplying a prohibited drug on an ongoing basis and supplying a prohibited drug indictable quantity (not cannabis).
Six other charges of supplying prohibited drugs small quantity were also taken into account in the sentencing, while three charges were withdrawn and dismissed.

A total of 44 people have been charged as a result of Strike Force Croci’s operation. Eighteen of of those charged have either entered guilty pleas or been found guilty, with 16 now sentenced.
Strike Force Croc netted police more than three kilograms or 25,000 street buys of the drug methamphetamine or ice valued at $2 million, three kilograms of cannabis, five firearms, and cash.
