A man and a woman have been charged following investigations into the supply of prohibited drugs within the Far South Coast Command.

In July 2015, detectives from Bega and Far South Coast Target Action Group formed a Strike Force to investigate ongoing drug supply.
About 9am Wednesday, police attended a home on the Princes Hwy, Narooma and arrested a 48-year-old woman.
She was taken to Narooma Police Station where she was charged with ongoing supply of prohibited drug offences. She appeared in Bega Local Court on Thursday.
About 9am Thursday, police attended a home on Bermagui Rd, Cobargo where they arrested a 53-year-old man.
He was taken to Bega Police Station where he was charged with supply prohibited drug (x3) and posses ammunition as well as possess prohibited drug.
He was refused bail and will appear in Moruya Local Court on Friday.
Police will allege they located a small amount of the drug known as ‘Ice’, cannabis leaf and ammunition during a search of the man’s Cobargo home.
