DESPITE the wet weather, a large crowd attended the Sapphire Coast Turf Club’s Boxing Day races on Saturday, with many crowding underneath any shelter as the rains came down.

People came from all over the country to attend the race meet, with a large number from Canberra as well as some from Wagga Wagga and even Perth.
All were in high spirits despite the poor weather, with a great time had by all.
