Hunter workers gathered at midday to protest the government’s privatisations of Newcastle transport services.
The Premier spoke to the crowd about 12.45pm.
Angry at being left out of discussions about the privatisations, Hunter Workers secretary Daniel Wallace said on Tuesday morning he was hopeful Mike Baird could speak to workers affected by the decision.
