The day’s Christmas Market had a huge amount of handmade products and entertainment on offer, including musical performances by pupils and even a bit of juggling.
The event was a fundraiser for the school’s Parents and Friends with money raised going to benefit the school’s pupils and community.
“But the main thing is the chance for all the families to get together,” Christmas Market coordinator Vickie Goldsmith said.
“The children really look forward to it.”
Funds raised by the P&F in the past have included parent education, buying instruments for the school’s music program and helping to fund the Year 5 and 6’s recent music tour.
With 180 pupils enrolled at Mumbulla School, Ms Goldsmith estimated about 300 people enjoyed the wares on offer at the market when it opened just after 3pm on the day.
