Weetbix SurfGroms is a national junior development program for 5 to 12 year olds that teaches kids how to surf in a fun, safe and supervised environment.
It offers youngsters an opportunity to develop strong ocean awareness and beach safety skills at a very influential period in their lives.
Participants are enrolled into an eight-hour surfing course that is delivered over five consecutive mornings at Pambula Beach.
Coastlife Adventures is running three courses in January.
SurfGroms 1 – Monday 4th to Friday 8th January
SurfGroms 2 – Monday 11th to Friday 15th January
SurfGroms 3 – Monday 18th to Friday 22nd January
Each program is designed to teach the basic skills of surfing and introduces youngsters and their families to a healthy, fun and iconic Australian lifestyle that can be embraced for a lifetime.
Coastlife Adventures will provide all participants with specially designed junior G-boards and steamer wetsuits for their lessons.
As well as professional instruction, every participant receives a free Quiksilver or Roxy backpack containing a rash-vest, sun hat, sun cream, Weetbix bowl, wax comb and a SurfGroms logbook to record their achievements.
This is the ideal Christmas gift for youngsters that are ready to learn to surf this summer.
