The new “toolkit’, in schools from Term 1 2016, was developed by the Board of Studies, Teaching and Educational Standards with specialist advice from Domestic Violence NSW and other agencies.
It includes signs and symptoms of abuse; support available; and activities that explore issues including abuse, exclusion, discrimination, and the impact of gender assumptions.
