While council amalgamation was the key debating topic in the trade exhibition hall, the SlasherTeck Roadside Maintenance Innovation was a big talking point as well.
A gala dinner event allowed the five company representatives - Nathan Boyle, Caroline Hong, Andrew Stoner, Robert White and Norm Boyle - to network with many of the 800 delegates from the 152 NSW shire councils.
Representatives from RMS also inspected SlasherTeck's display and invited the company to demonstrate the innovation on their road network in early December as well as to many councils.
The company displayed its first production unit, manufactured right here on the South Coast, under the conference spotlight.
The IPWEA award-winning innovation is set to go worldwide next year.
