The Bulls surged forward to score 246 runs in their allotted 40 overs, with Kel Evans leading the way on a tremendous 130-run haul.
Batting partner Liam Cooper also batted solidly to score 58 in the relentless frenzy.
The Bulls had already cleared 100 runs when the first wicket fell.
Cooper was caught by Lachlan Brennan, which boosted the Pirates’ confidence.
However, Evans continued his scoring assault and made another good partnership with captain Robbie Ringland.
Ringland added a valuable set of 24 runs, but was dismissed shortly after – with the Bulls on 139.
The Pirates started to gain some traction in the field and the wickets steadily began to flow.
Brad Moon and Jack Matthews were both sent back to the sheds for a duck, Moon off an unfortunate catch, while Matthews was stumped outside of his crease.
Joel Stewart scored nine runs, but was dismissed lbw off the bowling of Robert Brown.
Lachlan Sims was caught and bowled by Mason Moore for just three runs.
The continued scoring of Evans kept the Bulls climbing the run count even as the wickets fell to the Pirates and the tally totalled 246 at the end of the innings.
Brown had led the wicket taking for the Pirates with a pair on the day.
The Pirates were more consistent, but not as quick in their scoring efforts to fall short at 170 runs after the 40 overs.
Opener Jaihya Preston was dismissed cheaply off the bowling of Braiden McIntosh for six runs.
However, fellow opener Geordie McEvoy put on a solid 22 runs to get the Pirates on the right track.
Moore chipped in with a good 16-run haul and there was hope for the Pirates.
Robert Brown almost shaped as a hero for the side, scoring an unbeaten 49 runs.
Matt Corbett also scored 16 runs and the South Eurobodalla roster was rounding a reasonable total.
However, the run rate was a bit too slow and the Pirates ran out of time to chase.
Jack Allen kicked his season off strongly with a trio of wickets.
Meanwhile, McIntosh picked up a pair of wickets, with Cooper and Stewart also claiming a single each.
Other matches saw Tathra win comfortably over Pambula, while the Merimbula Knights took a straight-forward win over the Eden roster.
