Tathra needed just two wickets to knock over the total set by the Pambula Bluedogs with captain Adam Blacka top-scoring on 94 for his side.
Merimbula found itself in a similar predicament, when it conquered the Eden side after dropping just two wickets.
Eden had set a modest total for the Knights to chase with Brendan Daley taken to task, scoring 49 on the hunt.
The biggest scoring affair of the weekend came from the Bega-Angledale Bulls who crushed the South Eurobodalla Pirates in the first round clash.
The Bulls set a blistering pace to score 246 in their 40-over allotment.
In reply, the Pirates were left shaken, seven wickets down to score 170.
The series will continue with one-dayers with two-day matches to begin early next year.
