The annual Spring Show will be hosted by the Bega AP&H Society and feature two rings of competition on both days.
Organisers said dressage will run on the Saturday, while the Sunday event sees the showjumping take centre stage.
The competition covers a wide range of skill levels from prepatory right through to medium.
There will also be a freestyle and pas de deux for prepatory to medium skill groups.
Meanwhile, Sunday will feature the showjumping rounds and a spokesperson for the event said it should be a great day out.
“There is cross rails up to 1.2 metres and X-rails,” the spokesperson said.
“A junior and open six bar competition will be a highlight to finish off the day.”
The dressage will feature cash prizes depending on field sizes and organisers are urging everyone to get their entries in asap.
Entries close for the dressage competition on Wednesday at 5pm and costs $15.
Organisers said the deadline had already been extended so any late riders should get their details in now.
To enter, contact Tanya Rutter on tanyarutter@internode.net.au.
You will need to include your name, horse name, tests entered, PIC code and bridle number.
Draws for the competition will also be e-mailed out to entrants.
For dressage inquiries you can contact Ms Rutter on 0409 393 913 or for showjumping contact Helen Slater on 6492 0627 or 0427 339 064.
For competitors on both days, camping and stables are available through the AP&H Society.
Organisers said horse yards are free, but spaces are limited so anyone looking to camp for the night should make a reservation with Marie Smith on 6492 1188.
There will be a full canteen available on both days of the competition and organisers said spectators are more than welcome.
Everyone is encouraged to head along and cheer on the young riders as they compete over the weekend.
