Owner Janet Doolin said the day was important for the community.
“It's an absolute joy to see people enjoying themselves, and we're lucky because we always get tremendous weather for our open days,” she said.
“The day is all about getting back to basics.
“The community wants progression and a move back to sustainability,” she said.
Ms Doolin tragically lost much of her recent yield to bowerbirds but has since successfully managed to scare the remainder of birds away with the loud voices of politicians.
“I played parliament question time really loudly on the farm and it managed to keep them away,” she said with a laugh.
The 16 acre property began as a farm 20 years ago, and with the coming addition of pigs it is stronger than ever.
“You really have to have a love for the land,” Ms Doolin said.
