POLICE from the Far South Coast have begun planning for White Ribbon Day in November at Narooma, the centre of their command area.
Full details of the event will be announced once all the information and participants have been confirmed.
However, police wish to repeat the oath that is sworn on the day, "I swear never to commit, excuse or remain silent about violence against women."
Police ask the community not to tolerate such behaviour - report it, let someone know about it.
Do not do nothing.
If any community groups wish to participate in the event in November at Narooma, contact your local police station, which will forward details to Detective Inspector Kevin McNeil.
