The teams secured wins in the minor semi-final of each the A, A reserve grade and men’s matches last weekend to advance.
The Grand men’s side finished the season in third and will get a preliminary final shot after a 2-1 win over the Candelo squad.
The A grade side also advanced securing a win over the under-manned United team, while the A reserve side slipped through with a 2-1 win over the Youstabees.
Meanwhile, the men’s and A grade minor premiers earned their way directly to the grand final.
Elders secured a 1-0 win over the Babes to relegate the Tathra outfit to a preliminary final battle.
Spectators said it was hugely close contest as play pushed to each end repeatedly.
Elders and the Babes are shaping as regular rivals with the two teams holding first and second on the ladder this year.
In the men’s contest, the Magpies have gone straight through with a hard-fought 1-0 win over the Pambula roster.
In the junior grades, Bega Ag scored a 2-0 win over Candelo, while Hoylands defeated Tathra 2-1.
In B grade, Elders took a 2-1 win over the Candelo White roster and Candelo Black won 2-1 over Tathra B.
Preliminary final matches to be played at the Bega Valley Fields on Saturday will run from 9.30am.
The opening round sees Tathra C play Bega Ag.
The B grade takes the field from 11am with Elders B to play the Tathra B roster.
Two matches will run at 1pm with the A reserve game to see the Youstabees play Pambula.
Meanwhile, on field two, the Pambula men will play the Grand Hotel men.
At 2.30pm the A grade preliminary final has the Grand Hotel roster playing the Tathra Babes for a grand final berth.
