The side defeated Mallacoota 3-0 where Tathra displayed some attacking brilliance and a gritty defensive resolve.
The side was confident ahead of the match, having already defeated Mallacoota twice in the previous three weeks.
However, the Mallacoota outfit was minor premier and was a difficult opponent to challenge.
Club officials said the United side went on the offensive from the outset and the team never looked in doubt.
Jack Cwroley found a goal early for the Tathra side, which boosted the team’s confidence, while Mallacoota was left reeling.
Later in the match, Marley McCabe sealed the result with two well-placed goals.
Officials said Mallacoota had no answer to his speed and control of the ball.
After the match, coach Alfred Oesch described the game as an outstandingsuccess.
“I am so proud of my team, who displayed greatteamwork, skill and composure under pressure,” Oesch said.
“This grand final win was the culmination of a season of hard work andskills development, they all played like champions.”
Club president Paul Da Silva also heaped praise on the young side.
“This is the third title in a row for our under 12s and the second for Alfred,” he said.
“It shows that for a small club we have an excellent reputation for developing young talent on good coaching as well as a good team and club culture.”
The club also congratulated Jack Crowley, Jai McCabe and Hallam Brichacek, who won the best and fairest in their respective grades.
