Treasured family photos, or child porn?
As children our parents took many of 'these' photos of us children while we were in the bath having fun or running under the sprinkler stark naked and there was never a question of whether these were pornographic as we were not made to feel that we were being sexualised - the worst to come from them was a veiled threat to show them at your 21st so everyone could have a good laugh - however as a mother with 4 children I would not take these sorts of photos as we now live in a society where we have seen that there is quite a lot of untoward people in the world with more then innocent ideals so therefore we need to protect our children
Fiona Howarth
Children are beautiful and innocent, take the photos as precious memories. ..just don't post them on social media to protect them. Then by the time they are 18 you can display them at your kids 18th Birthday lol

Personally I think this is ridiculous! A parent should be able to take photos of their child with out being made feel like they are being sexual about it. If someone or a parent finds a nude photo of their child sexual then they obviously have serious issues!! Society these days is ridiculous!!

Such a sad world when we have to think twice about wanting to capture a happy moment in our children's lives, i have many precious photos of my boys they love to look back on and see themselves grow, im not going to stop these happy times because there are sick perverts in this world obviously normal people don't post them on social media nor see them as sexual so i will continue to capture every happy moment my boys have

I think in this day and age, nothing is ever private. Once it is online, it is out there forever so I think everyone should be very careful with what they post. Take all the pictures you want but keep it old school and put them in a photo album, not a FB album

My mum had some photos of a naked baby me and so I could keep them but no one else would see my privates she drew on underwear with a black biro pen

It's good though that people are more aware these days and willing to report it even though it was unnecessary in this case.
Catherine Coman
It's the fact that it went to court that's ridiculous.
Obviously someone reported this. The cops should have the power to use common sense when a legitimate explanation is provided.

My parents took a lot of photos of me naket when I was between 2+6 years old. When I was fourteen years old I tore up the whole lot. I found them very embarrassing.

What’s in a name? New locality signage
The region needs to take more pride in its entry points. Take for example the beautiful stone entry points to Eurobodalla and Shoalhaven. They are distinctive, aesthetically pleasing and show a level of regional pride. Even the major towns could benefit from nicer entry point signage, perhaps locally sourced granite or something.

Why are we honoring a man who mistreated and murdered aboriginals?
Laura Wilcox
I was a little taken aback to note that according to the sign... Wolumla doesn't even rate as a village or town... Apparently it's only a "locality”. I believe that having a pub, a post office and a church would qualify it as a township if not a town.
