The club celebrated 10 years since winning the 2005 premiership flag in three grades with a 12.14 (86) to 6.12 (48) win over Bermagui.
The Breakers were in the thick of the action, but the Sea Eagles soon found traction to pull away.
It took a few minutes for the Sea Eagles to work a counter for the Bermagui big men, but once they had points flowed freely.
Bermagui’s Luke Moresi was a strong contender in the ruck contest.
However, the Tathra back line worked diligently to turn away most of the attacks from the visitors.
With Ryan Dakis playing well on the edges and Tyler Rose through the middle, the Sea Eagles returned plenty of play to their own front lines.
By the first break, the Sea Eagles had edged ahead on the board, but the momentum was just building.
Bayden Pilbeam helped the team get ahead in the early passages with some accurate snap kicks at range.
Standing strong up front for the home side was Will Dickinson, who was exceptional in contested marks.
Dickinson led the scoring for the Sea Eagles with three majors to his name, while Pilbeam sat just one behind on two.
At the other end of the spectrum, Bermagui was headed up by the scoring of Matt Parsons and Luke Gardiner with five goals between them.
Matt and Ben O’Reilly were in the thick of the fray for ball clearances to keep Tathra pressing forward.
By the main break the Sea Eagles held a 20-point buffer over their northern opponents.
By the third quarter, Tathra had developed its game plan and began rotating play through the middle with excellent results.
Captain Luke Taylor joined in with a pair of goals, while five others joined the goal ranks with one each to their name.
Ryan O’Loghlin, William Murphy, Tom Lipsham, Matthew McCambridge and Kale Galeano all kicked a single six-pointer.
Though they didn’t feature on the scoreboard, Cam Burns and Chris Dickinson were on ballers for the Sea Eagles.
The pair were a go between from the back line to the edge runners on Saturday.
Solid defence and good clearance from the duo in the final quarter saw the scoring by the Breakers slow, while Tathra kept piling on points.
The Breakers had come within 15 points at the three-quarter break, but the Sea Eagles rallied in the final period.
The Sea Eagles slotted 30 points in the final period, while Bermagui found just eight.
As the final home and away series game, the win puts the Tathra outfit in good stead going into the finals.
The Tathra club finished third on the ladder and will play an elimination final against the Bega Bombers this weekend.
