Bega has qualified three times in the last four years and never met the same team twice.
The team got off to a great start with a 71-45 win over Hat Head.
The afternoon round saw the side take on Barradine, who had lost the morning round to Cronulla.
However, Barradine turned their game around and by the 14th end were out to a commanding 25- shot lead.
The Bega side finished strongly, but couldn’t quite close the gap to lose 62-55.
Then last Sunday, the side played the competition leading Cronulla team.
If Bega won by seven shots it could still advance to the semi-finals.
Robert Stahmer stepped aside to allow Bega backup player Michael Grant a round on the greens.
After a tense match, the scores were incredibly tight.
With the three rinks added, Bega had won 61-60 to finish its run in the contest.
Team members thanked their supporters and team manager Noeleen Philipzen who made the trip with the side.
