The star shooter, who was recently named in the Australian Diamonds squad has also been announced as one of the NSW Swifts first picks for next year’s draw.
NSW Swifts’ Head Coach Rob Wright could not be happier with the announcement of the Club’s first 2016 signings.
“This is really exciting news for all associated with the NSW Swifts,” Wright said .
“One of our team’s major strengths this season was the depth and versatility we deliberately assembled within our roster.
“And to have already retained six of these athletes will enable us to build upon the strong foundations we set in 2015.”
Pettitt is also a possibility to play in the Netball World Cup with the Austrailan Diamonds to be held in Sydney later this year.
She will make the trip to Bega to share her skills with junior players between the ages of six and 14-years-old.
