Because we’re locals.
The isolated bush space that sites the Murrah Hall’s Variety Night on July 11 is the will be a communal celebration.
Standing around the fire sharing something in common - that we’ve all “done the drive” - and then inside the hall is a breadth of truly breathtaking local talent who have also “done the drive” for you.
A huge range of artists will be playing on the evening, such as Sophisticated Boom Boom, The Dadu Dancers, Mac Pelican, Candy and Lillian McViety, Jesse Broadhurst, Geoffrey Guiffre, The Tilba Tappers, Marco Solo, The Singlets, Martin Fowler, Louise Hankinson, Matthew Perry and, possibly, Doug on harmonica and maybe Michael.
It’s our night with our talent for our entertainment and it’s only on once in this lifetime.
Support our stars of music, song, tap, spoken and comic word as they support you -with the entertainment that makes them and our modest local culture unique.
Proceeds will go towards the purchase of a portable dressing room and utility bills.
The variety night will be at the Murrah Hall on July 11 and will start around 7pm.
Entry is $20 for a single person or $35 for couples/families.
Murrah curries are available for $5 and tea and coffee will be a gold coin donation.
