Spiral Gallery Bega is today (Wednesday, July 1) taking final bids in its silent art auction fundraiser featuring donated artworks from prominent and emerging regional artists.
The silent auction showcases work by 30 artists: paintings, prints, ceramics, sculptures, jewellery and other media.
Donated works are by Annie Franklin, Susan Chancellor, Daniel Lafferty, Gabrielle Powell, Rick Andersen, Jenny Mein, Joy Georgeson, Margaret Moran, Trish Collins, Sharon Cornthwaite, Polly Crowden, Tanja Riese, Bronwyn Wright, Anneke Paijmans, Jo Saccomani, Rona Walker, Pauline Balos, Steve Stafford, Julie Krone, Nat Kirby, Rhonda Ayliffe, Anna Senior, Naomi Lewis, Margaret Brown, John Gosch, Anna Buck, Doris Kruse-Hoyne, Jane Murphy, Helen Morris and Tony Lockerbie.
Bids on the silent auction have been taken since June 19 throughout the free exhibition, and conclude at 6pm tonight, July 1.
To celebrate, cocktails, canapés, raffles and perhaps a lucky door prize will be enjoyed at Spiral from 5pm.
The silent auction fundraiser will be Spiral Gallery’s major fundraiser this year to fund much-needed infrastructure improvements to the gallery.
