Batemans Bay Local Court heard that Kirsty Lea Ryan, 27, of Beauty Crescent, Surfside, was driving west along Wharf Road in Surfside on the evening of April 25 when the officers waved her into a breath-testing site.
She turned on her right-hand indicator, and then drove her car onto the incorrect side of the road and around the site, without stopping.
The officers pursued her car along Wharf Road and into the car park in Korners Park.
After failing the breath test, she was taken to the police station, where she told police she had imbibed four 375ml double black vodkas in a three-hour period.
A blood alcohol test returned a reading of reading of 0.167.
After being called three times on Monday, Ryan failed to appear before the court.
In her absence, magistrate Doug Dick found her guilty of high-range drink-driving, fined her $2000, disqualified her driver’s licence for nine months, and imposed a two-year interlock order to follow the suspension.
On a charge of failing to stop her car when directed, Ryan was convicted and fined $500.
