The Sea Eagles will travel to the Pambula Sporting Complex to take on the Pambula Panthers for the second time around.
The last meeting of the two clubs saw the Panthers surge ahead in the final quarter.
Tathra coach Reggie O’Loghlin is planning on it being a different scenario this time.
“We should have a full squad in this week and hopefully we can challenge them more than last time,” O’Loghlin said.
“When we last played the score only blew out in the final quarter and we went in under-manned.”
The targets to watch for the Sea Eagles will be the midfield and Panthers captain-coach Sean Smith.
“Sean is a strong player and we need to stop him as much as possible,” O’Loghlin said.
“And if our midfield can get on top of theirs that will go a long way to changing the result from last time.”
He said everyone had needed the break of the bye round last week and would be a fresher well-drilled squad ready for the challenge on Saturday.
The Sea Eagles will be looking to in-form middle man Jason Ainsworth to lead from the middle.
“Jason is always a benchmark, if he is up and about then the team will follow him,” O’Loghlin said.
“But we’ll also have a few changes for the backline while trying to keep our forward looking pretty similar.
“It’s just a matter of stopping the flow back the other way.”
O’Loghlin favours the bigger Pambula ground and said it provides more opportunities through space to run.
“The bigger the ground the better, there is more room to move and better chance to run around,” he said.
“But it is going to be tough, especially on their home ground.
“I can’t really predict the outcome and if we get a win that would be great, but we just have to be competitive.”
The match will be played at the Pambula Sporting Complex on Saturday from 2.10pm.
