The under 18s will kick off at 11am followed by the ladies league-tag clash at 12.30pm.
The headline first grade match will now play at 1.30pm.
THE Grand Hotel Bega Roosters will consolidate big matches against Cooma last week, while the Narooma Devils are in dire need of a win.
Four matches will be held at the Bega Recreation ground on Sunday with the league-tag and under 18s matches to be a highlight for spectators.
The Narooma She-Devils are dominating the league-tag competition, while the under 18s clash boasts a number of regional rep players.
The three senior grades will all take on Narooma, while the under 18s Roosters will match up to the combined Eden-Merimbula-Pambula-Candelo-Bemboka squad.
At the halfway mark of the Group 16 competition, the Finnerty Automotive first grade Roosters are on top of the competition.
However, second placed Moruya has a game in hand against Eden at Moruya and possess a stronger for and against percentage.
The Roosters are aware that they will need to keep winning to stay in the hunt for a top three position, their task will not be easy as they go into the game without captain coach Ryan Apps and hooker Blake Robinson, who are both away representing the Greater Southern side on the Central Coast.
Ricky Stapleton is expected to step up to the mark and run the full 80 minutes, while Tom Cryer off the bench will see a lot more game time.
The Bega squad will be looking to contain the Narooma captain-coach Clint Wright.
Another threat will be the hard-running prop Tony Tyrrell, who is devastating inside the 20-metre line.
Clay Child and Scott Orr have both been showing glimpses of fantastic form for the Roosters, while Scott Ingram made a big return out wide last week.
Eden convincingly defeated Narooma last week, but the Roosters are expecting the Devils to have a vastly improved look this week.
A number of key players are back in and it is a must-win scenario for the Devils to stay in touch with the pack.
The Bega Chicks league-tag side headed up by coach Kane Morgan will take on the competition favourite She Devils.
The She Devils have benefitted from the services of former Bega Chick Tegan Mundy.
However, they also have a young side with speed to burn and haven’t lost a game yet.
Lilly-Rose Bennett has been exceptional for the She Devils out of the fullback role, scoring a swag of tries.
Combined with what the Roosters described as a “master ball player” in Jamie Anne Wright, the She Devils have been topping the league.
Bega pulled back an understrength Cooma Fillies last week and will again look to its new players to lift.
The come from behind win was a morale boost for the team, which will look to captain Joccoaa Rogers, Bronte Burhop and Trudi Badullovich for leadership.
The Chicks know that they need to keep Bennett under close watch and cut off Wright’s options with Bega’s wingers and fullback in for a busy day to counter her kicks.
In the reserve grade, a horror run of injuries saw Narooma fall short of numbers last week to force a forfeit.
At the time of going to press the reserves are scheduled to go ahead with no word from the Narooma club.
On the other hand, Roosters coach Wayne Northey has a strong player base to draw from.
The Fullers are holding down three spots, while Adam Griffin and Luke Hoskins are back on deck.
However, there is a few injury worries for the Roosters with Billy Hudson and Jay Elliott to test their fitness before Sunday’s clash.
The day-opening under 18s match boasts a high number of rep players across the two sides.
The combined outfit will look to Zac Slater, Joel Grewar and Mitch Farrell to lead the way.
Meanwhile, the Roosters have the indomitable James and Mitch Duncan, Luke Dowdle, Zach Cuzner, Connor Carr and James Bower-Scott to counter.
“By sticking to our patterns and working our plays we will be in the game for a long way,” coach James Scott said.
