A free bootcamp on Saturday morning could be just the start you are looking for.
Personal trainer Samantha Moon will host the free bootcamp session to coincide with the opening of her personal training studio named Thrive Fitness at the Bega Showground from 9am.
“My whole family is very sporty and to pursue a career around being active and sporty was something I always wanted to do,” Moon said.
The boot camp already has about 30 interested bodies and more are welcome.
“The more the merrier, I have another trainer with me on the day so there will be two of us,” Moon said.
Following the launch of the winter sports season, Moon said the session will be a great opportunity to build fitness.
“There will be some boxing, tyres, logs, we are going to do some balloon work and just have some fun with it,” she said.
Depending on interest levels, Moon is planning to host three sessions weekly.
“I’ll be doing every Saturday morning from 9am and Monday and Thursday nights from 5.30pm,” she said.
She will also be available from 6am to 8pm daily for personal training sessions.
“I do one on one sessions if you want that – or cater to small groups.
“We can cater to what you need and work with you to get you the results.”
Clients will also be offered nutritional advice and cardio and workout programs to suit their needs.
Moon also has a love of soccer and represented Australian in the open women’s squad.
She also played her junior soccer in Bega.
“I am a Devil through and through,” she said with a laugh.
Following her soccer endeavours, Moon made a career change.
“I started personal training and fell in love with it and the benefits coming from it,” she said.
If you aren’t entirely convinced yet, Moon is inviting everyone to head along and check out her studio space from 10am until noon on Saturday.
“I will be available in the studio if you want to come and have a chat with me to see what it’s all about,” she said.
