The Sea Eagles batted first and things quickly looked dire.
Opener Derick Jason was run out for just six, while his batting partner Jasper Lohan only made it a little further, caught on nine.
Tynan Taylor was then dismissed on two and the home side was in trouble.
Jory Taylor steadied the ship with a well compiled stint of 27 runs.
However, it was James Squires that really set Tathra on the path to victory.
Squires slammed every ball coming his way as he worked the scoreboard upwards.
When Taylor was dismissed, Squires was joined by Tom Dwyer at the crease and the pair set up a huge batting partnership.
Dwyer made 55 runs, while Squires pressed the attack to top score with 115.
Valuable additions from Shannon Shepherdson and Quinn Fletcher-Barrie soon had Tathra with a solid total to defend.
Tathra batted out its overs to finish 9/276.
In stark contrast, the openers for Kameruka excelled, while the middle order slumped.
Clinton Peel top scored for the visitors with 78.
Fellow opener David Schumann got on the board with 49 and Kameruka looked dangerous.
However a middle order collapse provided an opportunity for Tathra.
Five ducks spelled doom for the visitors as Fletcher-Barrie and Dwyer finished off excellent spells of bowling.
Kameruka was all-out after 30 overs for a total of 184.
