It is the fourth time the event has run, which is organised by the Cancer Research Advocate Bikers (CRABS) Bermagui branch, also known as the “Kingies”.
Founder of CRABS Rob Grimstone said the show had been fantastic.
“Great crowd, great weather, another perfect day,” he said.
During the event CRABS donated $15,000 to Cancer Council NSW and $5000 to Can Assist which had been raised from previous ventures.
CRABS Bermagui branch treasurer Jim Gilchrist said about $24,000 had been raised on the day from gate prices and the boat raffle.
“Financially it was a very successful day,” he said.
Mr Gilchrist said attendance numbers were up a little with around 1000 people walking through the gates, as children were allowed in free.
A range of makes, models and colours made up the approximately 80 bikes on display.
The prize in the boat raffle was a tinny donated by Merimbula Mowers and Marine which was won by Robert Graham.
Entertaining the crowd was Bega band Angus Rump and the Chips.
Bermagui CRABS president Mike Power said he wanted to give a “huge thanks” to all those who had been involved; the sponsors, suppliers, stall holders, members, entrants and all who came.
“We couldn’t be happier, see you all in 2016,” he said.
Through CRABS’ six years of operations, they have donated $220,500 to Cancer Council NSW and Can Assist.
“Cancer Council is so proud to be involved with CRABS and we feel incredibly lucky that they have chosen us as their major charity,” Cancer Council community relations coordinator Sarah Flynn said.
“They work so hard to make the event better and better every year, which they always do.
“We wouldn’t be able to do work at Cancer Council without funding from groups like the CRABS.”
