Takayah is the daughter of Tegan Lloyd and Kayne Wilson, the granddaughter of Kelly Lloyd and great-grandchild of Maree and Glenn Lloyd, and is much loved.
Family and friends gathered to hear the Captain in the Anglican Church Army and Aboriginal liaison officer Yvonne Gunning thank God for His goodness, ask the parents and family and friends to support Takayah’s parents as they seek to fulfil their God-given responsibilities.
Takayah was very vocal during proceedings, but a bottle of warm milk soon soothed her troubles away.
Uncle Cody Lloyd was proudly watching on.
He had journeyed from Sydney where he has been working at the Royal Easter Show.
Pat Jones presented Tegan with a bunch of home grown fresh flowers and gifts for baby Takayah with a Freddo frog, to remind Tegan of days long go when she was taught Scripture by Ms Jones.
Many other gifts were warmly received by Tegan from family and friends and the smile on Great Granma Maree was a sight to behold.
Reverend Ross Gear presented the baby’s parents with a lovely Bible and a promise was given that it would be read and taught to baby Takayah.
A beautiful afternoon tea was provided by the ladies of the Anglican Church and was enjoyed by all present.
