Around 100 people attended the night full of raffles, auctions, finger food and music by local group Train Wreck.
“It was a pretty good turn up,” one of the organisers of the night Linda O’Neill said.
“Seeing the look on Beth’s face was amazing, she was really happy.”
Mary Elliott also helped organise the night, doorknocking and collecting prizes to be auctioned off including two 50cc kid’s motorbikes and a weekend at Thredbo.
Details of the night were kept somewhat of a mystery to Ms Berk, who will soon head to Russia for a month-long treatment program called hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (HSCT) at the AA Maximov hospital.
All up, the travel and medical costs are expected to be around $60,000.
The fundraising on the night was a great success, and will go a long way with helping the Berk family pay for the expensive treatment.
“I’d really like to thank all the sponsors, and the band who donated their time,” Ms O’Neill said.
