The man’s white Hyundai Accent hatchback slid across Tathra Rd and down a southern embankment around lunch time on Sunday, 200 metres south-east of Kerrisons Lane.
Senior Constable David Bates of Far South Coast Local Area Command said on Monday morning that the vehicle slid down the embankment on its passenger side, coming to a rest with the rear portion of its roof against a tree.
The driver was out of the vehicle when police arrived on the scene, was assessed by Ambulance officers and not taken to hospital.
The vehicle was later towed and police are continuing their investigations.
