The squad had an exceptional start against the visiting team, but things quickly turned sour in the middle order.
The Bulls had dismissed Eden’s first six wickets for just a meager 26 runs.
However, a destructive turnaround from Tim Bowes and Martin Butchers brought the Bulls’ attack undone and the score then blewout.
Bowes slogged 29 runs, while Butchers cleaned house to score 100 runs.
Butchers stayed at the crease through the lower order and with some support from captain Reece Wheeler saw the squad clear 200 runs.
In reply, the Bulls are in a tense position on 3/25.
Brad Moon was dismissed for a single, while Eden also cleaned up two ducks.
Glenn Wilcox rallied the scoring and will open for the Bulls when play returns tomorrow.
The squad will be looking for its own middle order showing as it needs to chase down 170 runs to secure points and maintain its position on the ladder.
Meanwhile, the Tathra Sea Eagles are holding firm with a 70-run lead over the South Eurobodalla Pirates.
The Sea Eagles were swift and accurate in their bowling attack to have the Pirates’ batting roster bungled out for 83 runs.
Adam Blacka secured eight wickets for the visiting Tathra side and also played out a man of the match effort at the crease.
He slogged 91 runs, while wickets fell cheaply around him.
However, the Sea Eagles conjured a solid total of 149 and still have one wicket in hand.
Both matches resume at 1pm tomorrow at Bega’s George Griffin Oval and the Dalmeny Oval respectively.
