I HAD the notion that I'm a Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here, meant just that.

Oh, I'm not quibbling as to whether the motley crew brought together in the African jungle were celebrities or not.
I did know more than half of them, but the rest, well I'm really not to up with the world of fashion etcetera so they may have been household names, but not in my household.
What I got all wrong was the actual meaning of the name of the show.
I presumed that a celebrity given a very horrible or yucky task to do and refusing to do so would say, “I'm a celebrity, get me out of here” and they would be gone.
However the first instance that happened, and it was a model whose name I don't know, but she would have no part of a particularly revolting task and there was no retribution.
It turns out that viewers vote for celebrities to leave and that's how they get out of the show.
I'm not fussed on this reality show as I don't find people having to eat crawly things, be covered with slime and dung or other nasties, is really entertaining, especially as it's on when most people are having or getting ready for dinner.
I HAD been a bit ho-hum about Gallipoli (WIN) last week but I strongly recommend it now.
The last episode was very moving indeed, and they did smoke and they did swear.
Unhappily for Channel Nine, it's not drawing audiences and even “I'm a Celebrity” beat it.
NOW for My Kitchen Rules.
As you know there's always one team you really hope will make an absolute mess.
From the ads I imagined it would be the snobby couple who you would love to hate, but no, there was one couple on the bottom of the board who really marked down all teams after them, whether they cooked well or not.
The Canberra couple eliminated in the first round were also not popular because they had skited so about their abilities.
In the second round, really lovely lads lost out, but I'm thinking they did it on purpose as who would cook quail for the first time in a competition such as this.
Now we're on to the third round, no Pete or Manu, these are Colin Fassnidge's group.
Bon appetit.
