The poppy laying for the General Salute to the Fallen in the Great War was a wonderful ceremony and tribute, and Mr Hull thinks it might be a good idea to have a theme for the show each year.
He said the pavilion was packed and some sections like the pot plants, the preserves and the cooking were way up from last year.
The animal classes were also up with new exhibitors in the dairy cattle section.
Attendances were up and Mr Hull said the crowds enjoyed the entertainment on offer.
The fireworks are always popular as is the demolition derby, the trotting, lumberjack show, bike stunt show, farm bike competition, the Bega Cheese race, street theatre and of course the horse events, particularly the show jumping.
Mr Hull said that none of this could have happened without the commitment and energy of a great committee, all volunteers, and those that came and helped on the three days of the show, and he thanked them all.
In the dairy cattle Brett Jessop's Smallridge Alexander Melody won the supreme champion dairy cow.
In poultry Thomas Lord won the best bird of the show and in dairy goats, Thelma Wheatley took out the top award.
Rosskin Regent won the supreme champion stud beef exhibit and in the commercial cattle, the Cullen Bros won the champion beast of the show.
Helen Ypma won the grand champion Angora goat.
F Drum had the champion cheese exhibit and Pambula South Coast Oysters won the Sydney Rock Oysters Sapphire Coast Wilderness Special.
