“It doesn’t affect me as I don’t have a car, but if I did I’d be annoyed. I know my friends are. I can understand from a business point of view that if you are shopping here you don’t need more than three hours, but at the same time it doesn’t ever get full down there.”
Matt Burrows, Bega.
“If I was still at school, it would annoy me too.”
Georgia Mayer, Strandbags.
“I don’t park down there so it doesn’t really affect me. But from a retailer’s perspective, it could be a bit of a hassle if you can’t get a park at the top.”
Tara Platts, Georgies Fine Jewellery.
“I think it’s a shame for the staff because there’s supposed to be parking upstairs, but it’s always full of people from the main street, from the school etc. I know a lot of people feel the same because I’ve spoken to them. I know they [the centre’s management] don’t have to provide for staff parking, but they should.”
