While I’m sure that I have seen it somewhere before, I was hoping that you could reiterate all the relevant details of the Bega Valley Shire Residents and Ratepayers Association.
In particular, I would like to know:
1. How many members does the association have?
2. How many members regularly attend meetings?
3. How many people attended the 2014 AGM?
4. When and where are the BVSRRA meetings held?
5. Are all meetings accurately minuted?
6. Are the minutes of the meetings open to the public?
7. Are the many letters, submitted to the local papers, determined by a committee, or are they just your view/opinion?
8. What is the basic goal of the BVSRRA and do you have some kind of “Mission Statement”?
I look forward to your response,
Ian Gordon

How sad it is that among the whole population of our vibrant country there is no-one, according to our glorious leader of Team Australia, more deserving of receiving an Australian knighthood than a nonagenarian English Prince!
It appears that it is really true that Mr Rabbot does actually live down a burrow.
At first I thought that January 26 was in fact April 1.
Alas no, it seems that this is just the latest in a long litany of faux pas, gaffes, deceits and plain foolish stupidity that we Australians are shirtfronted with, and with monotonous and depressing regularity.
Who elected these clowns?
Yours in fervent hope of early deliverance.

Claims a bit rich
The Liberal member for the South Coast of NSW, Andrew Constance, has shot himself in the foot.
By announcing that Ausgrid and Endeavour Energy electricity workers (and by inference, Essential Energy electrical workers) earn far too much money and are being paid in excess of $110k per year, including electricity safety rules allowance, he failed to mention anything about his own allowances that are rather excessive.
I am a recently retired network operator and I earned an electrical safety rules allowance because I instructed electrical workers to access mains, both energised and de-energised, as part of their work duties.
I had to have an understanding of these rules to ensure the electricity workers were safe.
The rules constantly change.
My duty of care to these workers was to ensure their safety and to make sure those who went to work in the morning, arrived home safely to their families that night.
To gain my yearly qualification I had to attend a half day course, run by qualified instructors from the training school, which included theory, practical and a written open and closed book exams.
On top of this we had to complete a resuscitation component using a dummy.
The electrical safety rules allowance qualification was done in a proper manner and is compulsory by all those deemed necessary by senior management.
Mr Constance needs to resign.

Toxicity
What a revelation.
Tony Abbott is toxic!
