On January 22, police gave a 37-year-old man from Merimbula an infringement notice for offensive language after he had been swearing at a service station attendant.
ON JANUARY 25, a 24-year-old male from Bega was caught driving while having a suspended licence.
He was given a court attendance notice to attend Bega Local Court.
OVER 950 random breath tests were conducted in the Bega area over the Australia Day long weekend, with a number of infringements issued.
NOW that school returns this week, police are asking parents to take care in school zones and abide by parking signs, as the “no stopping” signs are there to protect children.
