A 50-year-old man was one of two motorcyclists killed on the NSW South Coast on Monday evening after his bike collided with Nissan X-Trail driven by German nationals at Basin View.

The crash happened at about 5.40pm, the Nissan crashed with the motorbike as the bike made a right-hand turn into the Wool Road on the Princess Highway.
While the 50-year-old rider died as a result of his injuries, his 43-year-old pillion passenger was taken to Shoalhaven Hospital to be treated for minor injuries and is in a stable condition.
The Nissan's German driver, a 33-year-old man and his 31-year-old female passenger were also taken to Shoalhaven Hospital suffering shock.
Police will investigate the circumstances surrounding the death and the driver will be interviewed.
Just a few hours later, another motorcyclist died at at Bellambi, near Wollongong, he also had a female passenger.
Emergency services were called to the southern end of Bellambi Beach about 8.30pm, following reports of a motorbike accident there.
Early investigations by Wollongong Police suggest the male rider was killed after falling down a steep embankment near the sewage treatment plant.
The rider died at the scene while a female pillion passenger suffered a broken arm and was taken to Wollongong Hospital for treatment.
