From 3.30pm on Friday everyone is welcome to celebrate summer with something to keep all ages entertained at St Patrick’s School’s Summer Carnival in Bega.
Zorb balls, a jumping castle, face-painting, coconut bowling, Wii dance party, toss the thong and a water fight challenge are just some of the activities on offer.
The Devonshire tea café is a great stop for afternoon tea while “The Kitchen” will be serving up sausages, rissoles and steak as well as the always popular chicken curry and nachos.
The Eden Marine Discovery Centre will have their Touch and Feel Tank full of marine creatures and the Tathra Surf Club have a display, educating everyone about the important role they play in keeping the public safe each summer.
Santa will be arriving about 6pm and the Christmas raffle will be drawn at 7pm.
First prize is a $200 meat/seafood voucher from The Butcher's Block, second prize $100 petrol voucher and third prize $50 Big W voucher.
Plevey's Pharmacy have very generously donated a beautiful mosaic outdoor setting worth over $240 which will be raffled alongside a handmade, queen-sized crocheted blanket and two crocheted cushions.
The St Patrick's fete is organised by St Pat's P&F and raises thousands of dollars every year to assist the school.
