A general bye was held in A grade to make way for the regional competition, with a number of players combining to form the South East team.
Tathra’s Chris Dwyer and Bega’s Sam Hodder both travelled to Bowral to join the invitational squad.
However, the squad was relegated to fourth place following successive losses to South Coast and Shoalhaven.
With the competition out of the way, A grade cricket will return to the Far South Coast this weekend.
Bega-Angledale will meet the Merimbula Knights at George Griffin Oval, Bega.
Meanwhile, the Tathra Sea Eagles will take on Eden at Lawrence Park, Tathra, tomorrow from 1pm.
The Sea Eagles are shaping as strong contenders this year, while the Bulls have been gaining valuable experience in early exchanges.
It should be an evenly placed contest for the Bulls when they take on the Knights, with both squads boasting one win each.
The Bulls and Knights both have youthful rosters with a handful of experienced players in the mix and will be looking to their veterans for leadership tomorrow.
Dave Allen proved he still has it for the Bulls against Pambula, while young Lachlan Sims is shaping up as an excellent utility player and batsman.
Tathra is equal on top of the ladder and will take on Eden, which has suffered two straight losses.
The dangerous batting line-up of Tathra is only outweighed by its pace bowlers in the Blackas, Dan and Adam, and swing bowler Lachlan Gordon.
However, Eden has their own family combinations in Mark and Corey Spink, who prove a lethal duo at the crease if they get to open up.
Tathra is likely to pile on another win, while the Bulls certainly have the depth to overcome the Knights.
Both games start at 1pm.
