Held at the Pambula-Merimbula Golf Club as a teams event between members of the diffferent emergency services, the day provided great competition and some friendly banter.
The overall winner on the day was the NSW Ambulance Service with NSW Police hot on its heels.
Members of the Rural Fire Service, Fire Brigade and SES also took part on the day.
Organisers hailed the event as a stunning success and planning is already underway for next year.
Event director, and police volunteer, Peter Weir was thanked by everyone involved for hosting the successful day.
The aim will be to double the number of entries, and also the amount raised for charity.
The NSW Police Association and Polie Bank were the main sponsors of the day and put forward $500 each, while Tura Beach Harvey Norman also donated $250 towards the $750 main prize.
Summerland Travel Merimbula also kindly donated a $600 travel voucher to be auctioned off during the day.
The event raised over $1000 for the purchase of toys for the children’s ward in the new district hospital.
A number of local businesses also donated prizes for the nearest the pin winners on each of the par threes.
