1. Spring Horse Show
The Cobargo Show Society will be holding its annual Spring Horse Show on Saturday at Cobargo Showground.
A full program of hack classes (with second chance classes), showjumping and novelties will this year be joined by team sorting events, ladies heifer and open steer rides.
Full canteen facilities will be available, camping $15 per vehicle per night powered or $10 unpowered.
Hack and showjumping classes will start at 8.30am.

2. Blue Veins rugby union carnival
The golden oldies will show they still have what it takes in Tathra on Saturday.
This year marks the 15th annual rugby carnival for the Blue Veins team and the many visitors who shake off the cobwebs and take part.
Over 35s are welcome to join and spectators are urged to head along for what will be a fun day of games and frivolity.
Games will begin about 11.30am Saturday at the Tathra Country Club fields.
The Tathra Pub will be the starting point for the carnival on Friday night with the crab races.
3. Bemboka in bloom
The Bemboka Flower Show has become known as “the biggest flower show” on the Far South Coast, and this year is the show’s 30th anniversary on Sunday.
Held at Bemboka Memorial Hall, visitors to the show will pay $5 to enter and this entitles the ticket holder to a morning/afternoon tea and a chance to win the lucky door prize.
Entries will be taken from 9-11am; and doors open to the public at 12pm, entry is $5 and includes afternoon tea.
4. Alex Stuart Quintet
Guitarist and composer with local connections Alex Stuart will return to perform at a Zephyrs concert near Bermagui.
He will be playing with four award-winning Australian musicians as the Alex Stuart Quintet.
The concert is on Sunday at the Four Winds Windsong Pavilion, Barragga Bay from 3pm.
Tickets are $50, including food and wine after the concert, and you can buy them at www.zephyrsjazz.com.au.
5. Fundraiser for Timor Leste
Enjoy the voices of six local choirs in the Bega Valley who will be displaying their talents to raise funds for Timor Leste on Sunday at Mumbulla School from 4.30pm.
Once again the Bega Valley Advocates for Timor Leste (BVATL) invite the Bega community to share this inspiring musical experience.
Concert entry is $15 per person, $10 concession and children are free.
A barbecue with salad is available for dinner.
