The Bulls posted a strong innings of 221 runs on Saturday, largely thanks to a 67 run stand by Dave Allen.
With the Bluedogs nipping at their heels in the second innings, Bega-Angledale was able to close out the Pambula attack 16 runs short of the target.
Sam Hodder opened the batting for the Bulls, but could not recreate his opening success, being clean bowled by Jack Baker for 14.
However, Allen quickly found the rhythm began smacking the ball all over the park.
Fielding efforts from Pambula were valiant, but they could simply not reach the high-flying drives.
However, once the prized wicket of Allen fell to Baker, the Bega line-up started to topple quickly.
Greg Longmore could only muster three, while Jack Matthews scored six.
Richard Arbon made a solid stand at the crease, adding 21 runs to the total before he was caught off the bowling of Tom Baker.
The total looked promising for the Bega outfit following the effort.
However, Lachlan Sims made sure of the score, shoring it up by another 29 runs.
The Bulls finished their innings at 9/221.
The Bluedogs started with steady early scoring, but Bega-Angledale was claiming top order wickets swiftly.
Corey Mitchell was declared lbw for 14 runs, with fellow opener Dylan Cook caught for 17.
However, the Bluedogs weren’t going down without a fight and Kieran Allan began the middle order stand for Pambula.
Allan added 25, while Bryden Unicomb scored 16.
Then Toby Keath also scored 25 runs and suddenly Pambula was right in the thick of the contest.
Tom Hammond made his half century, but was out lbw by Jack Matthews.
Luckily for the Bulls, the Pambula lower order fell swiftly and the Bluedogs found themselves 16 runs short of the target.
